The reports I have completed in Personal injury reports have primarily focused on traumatic psychiatric injuries such as Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety / depression, this would be due a single event or a range of cumulative factors which the client may have endured over a period of time such as abuse, torture, bullying, harassment etc.

I am regularly instructed by some of the leading law firms in the UK and have extensive experience of highly complex and VHCC cases. By investigating issues thoroughly and preparing clear and robust reports I have developed a strong reputation for my expert witness reports from Solicitors, leading barristers. I have been notified by a Partner of a law firm (in a failure to remove case) that in the Judges Tribunal notice (of an appeal against CICA decision to refuse any award) he referred to my report as “so helpful in quantifying the case” and “necessary and commendably detailed in a complex case”.

Working in the inner city area of Birmingham since 2003 as the lead Consultant Psychiatrist I have gained extensive clinical experience in patients with a range of complex mental health issues often precipitated by social factors.

My Masters Degree in ‘Medical Law and Ethics’ from the University of Keele has provided me with a strong foundation to compile and develop court reports to a high professional standard. I have also completed a comprehensive professional course in Medical Report Writing and Giving Expert Evidence in Court. I have also completed further medico-legal expert witness course in November 2015 which was approved by the Royal College of Physicians – (RCP activity code no : 99862)

I normally assess patients at my private consulting rooms in central Birmingham and I also travel nationwide as well as internationally to assess clients at their homes or solicitors office.

Reports are normally completed one to two weeks after appointment.
